We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our data practice at Entelect. You will design, build, and run cloud data pipelines, platforms, and models on AWS or Azure, and take ownership of your part of the work from first design through to production.

You will step into a project that is already moving, get across the existing data and architecture quickly, and take responsibility for a clearly defined piece of it. You will work directly with stakeholders to understand what the data needs to do, make the technical decisions that keep it reliable and maintainable, and explain those decisions in plain terms.

You should have 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, and be based in South Africa. Databricks experience is a bonus.
