QA engineer at Inspiring Teachers (education nonprofit). We run a monorepo behind a mobile app, dashboard, and Salesforce/PostgreSQL sync. Hands-on, manual-testing-first role.

You'd own: end-to-end testing of the iOS/Android apps, edge cases and regression before every release, coverage across the cheap Android phones (and some iOS) our teachers and field staff actually use, checking built screens against the designs, and watching performance/memory on low-end hardware. Clear reproducible bug reports, and you stay on a bug until it's actually closed. May include real field testing in e.g. Ghana, not just emulators.

Must have: strong manual testing on iOS + Android, comfort with devices and simulators, a full-workflow and edge-case mindset, an eye for design-vs-build drift, some performance monitoring, and the attention to detail to catch what everyone else scrolled past.

Nice to have: reading app logs, debugging/profiling tools, e2e tests (Maestro/Detox or similar), basic SQL and REST/Postman.
