What You’ll Do

You’ll join our Prisma Data Platform team, responsible for Accelerate, Prisma Postgres, and the bare metal cloud that powers them.

Recent and upcoming projects include:

• Choosing and deploying a globally distributed configuration store (like etcd, rqlite) for encrypted authentication and global routing for Prisma Postgres.
• Improving automation of servers to reduce maintenance overhead and provisioning times.
• Configuring, deploying, monitoring, and debugging a cutting-edge containerization platform for internal and external services.
• Participating in a shared on-call rotation with a focus on fair scheduling, strong tooling, and a culture valuing work-life balance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Proven success operating large-scale systems (Linux, networking, cloud).
• Experience with distributed systems on bare metal and cloud (AWS, Cloudflare).
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
• Deep expertise in Linux administration, networking, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
• Fluent in Bash and Debian; kernel-level debugging a plus.
• Strong grasp of systems architecture, scaling, and reliability patterns.
• Familiar with IAM, secrets management, Zero Trust, CI/CD security, and audit readiness.
• Clear, structured communication and collaborative mindset.
• Programming experience in Go, Python, or similar (advantageous).
