About the Role:

We are seeking a capable, experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to support our content authoring and game asset management platform and the broader set of tools for an ambitious educational product. The role spans the web platform itself as well as the internal tooling that keeps it running including CI/CD pipelines, CLIs, and other developer-facing tooling. You'll work across a TypeScript front end and a TypeScript/Go backend. If you enjoy full-stack ownership, from UI through API through the tooling that supports it all, this is a great fit. Full-Stack Product Development

Feature Ownership: Design, build, and ship features end-to-end across the web application — from UI through API to the data layer.

Frontend Engineering: Build clean, maintainable, well-structured TypeScript interfaces that content and operations teams rely on daily. Backend Engineering: Develop and extend backend services in TypeScript and Go, exposing well-designed APIs to the frontend and to internal tooling.

Cross-Tool Consistency: Contribute to Collider as well as adjacent internal tools supporting the Nanisca project, keeping patterns, conventions, and shared components consistent across them.

Data, Content & Integrations

Data Modelling: Design and work with structured data stores to support content workflows, versioning, and asset management. Content Pipelines: Help build and maintain the pipelines and tooling that move content and assets through the system reliably. Cloud Integrations: Integrate with cloud storage and managed services as needed to support platform features.

API Design: Contribute to clear, well-documented API contracts between frontend, backend, and internal tools.

Internal Tooling & Developer Experience

CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain the pipelines that test, build, and deploy Collider and its supporting tools reliably.

CLI Tooling: Design, build, and maintain internal CLIs that support day-to-day workflows for the team.

Developer Experience: Improve the tooling and processes that make it easier for the team to ship confidently, not just the product itself.

Quality, Collaboration & Process

Software Quality: Write efficient, well-tested, maintainable code, with automated unit and integration tests where it matters.

Version Control: Work confidently within Git-based repository workflows.

AI Fluency: Comfortable leveraging agentic and AI-assisted workflows as part of day-to-day development.

Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and work closely with a small, distributed team to keep the platform and its supporting tools moving forward.

What We're Looking For

Solid, hands-on experience across both TypeScript and Go, comfortable moving between frontend and backend work. Active contributor to the roadmap, you can own a feature independently but don't need to have seen everything. Comfortable working in a small, distributed team on a platform that's actively evolving. Genuine interest in the mission: building tools that support education across Africa.
