About the Project We are building a mobile-first SME business app focused on: -A funding dashboard for SMEs -A buy/sell business marketplace -A professional services marketplace (light v1) -An AI-powered business advisor This is an MVP build with a strong focus on speed, clean architecture, and smart trade-offs, not over-engineering.

What You’ll Be Building (MVP Scope) Phase 1 (Core MVP): -Mobile app (iOS & Android) using React Native -User authentication & SME profiles -Funding dashboard (statuses, document uploads, notifications) -Admin tools (via Supabase/Retool/Appsmith – not custom-built) -AI business advisor v1 (chat + predefined SME tools) -Push notifications & email updates

Later Phases (Post-MVP): -Buy/Sell business marketplace -Services marketplace (lead-based v1, not full escrow) -Tech Stack (Preferred, Not Mandatory) -Frontend: React Native -Backend: Supabase -Database: PostgreSQL (Supabase) -AI: OpenAI API (or similar) -Payments (later): Stripe / PayFast / Peach Payments

You don’t need to know everything, but you must be strong across the stack.

Who We’re Looking For We are looking for a senior, product-minded developer, not a large agency.

You should be able to: -Architect and build an MVP end-to-end -Make pragmatic decisions on what not to build in v1 -Work independently with weekly demos -Communicate clearly with non-technical founders -Deliver clean, maintainable code (not “quick hacks”)

Required Experience -5+ years professional development experience -Shipped at least 2 production mobile apps (store links required) -Strong experience with React Native -Backend experience with Supabase -Database design & role-based access control -API integrations (AI, payments, notifications) -Experience deploying apps to App Store & Google Play
